Santa? U got the wrong gift!

What’s up with Santa this year? He comes over to our home to deliver my daughters’ Christmas presents. As he’s about to leave, my four year old puts her gifts aside, runs after him and says “Santa? Where’s my iPad?” Well… Poor Santa… Not expecting that response, had nothing to say! Merry Christmas everyone!

Homemade Tattoos!

Got my first tattoo on my sixteenth birthday. Got together with a bunch of my girlfriends and we got tattooed! Such sweet memories, never regretted that day, whenever I look at my tattoo, it reminds of that day, of my best friends and of such sweet innocent fun. Also reminds me of when my dad found out, a few months later, that wasn’t a lot of fun. It wasn’t that he yelled, it was just the opposite! He didn’t speak or yell for days!!! Just ignored it and ignored me for days!!!! Got my second tattoo around my 30th birthday, a new tattoo for the new me, the older, wiser and mature me! Yeah right 🙂 that’s what I thought back then, before I got married and had the sweetest little girls in the world! Yesterday as I undressed my 4 year old for her shower, I found scribbles and drawings all over her legs! I frowned and said, “Again H!!! Again? Why would you draw all over your legs?” She frowned back at me and said ” I’m drawing a flower just like yours, why did you draw on your legs?” I was speechless and still am! What would you say to your lovely little daughter in a situation like mine? I don’t have the answer? Now I’m in my late thirties, I find myself speechless and outsmarted by a 4 year old! And now I think I know why my dad didn’t say anything to me at the time, was he speechless also?
